New Capabilities
Muse began as a standard chatbot but is expanding into an AI avatar capable of video conversations.
Muse agents are receiving dedicated email addresses to handle tasks and communicate with users. Additionally, the recently launched Muse Mac application is gaining computer-use capabilities.
Live Video Integration
While communication with Muse was initially limited to a text interface, users will soon be able to conduct live video calls with a Muse avatar. Meta allows customization of the avatar's appearance and voice, while a new Muse Realtime Avatar model drives its movements.
Market Reception and Roadmap
Following its launch earlier this month, Muse climbed App Store charts, reportedly surpassing ChatGPT mobile downloads in its first 12 days. Capitalizing on this momentum, Meta plans to release Muse on its smart glasses in the coming months, enabling users to converse with the agent about their field of view.
