Amazon unveiled five new Alexa devices, introducing two new hardware categories: the Alexa Photo Frame smart picture frame and the Echo Time smart alarm clock.
The Alexa Photo Frame marks the company's entry into digital photo displays, aiming to provide a sleek alternative for viewing camera rolls.
The display features a semi-matte, anti-glare screen designed to resemble framed artwork rather than a standard electronic monitor, utilizing a visual style comparable to competing aesthetic displays.
The 10-inch matte screen is built to blend seamlessly with traditional wall hangings.
Prime members receive unlimited storage on Amazon Photos, supported by intelligent curation software designed to surface relevant images based on timing and context.
The software is capable of filtering out screenshots and receipts while prioritizing well-lit portraits and seasonal memories. Users can also attach voice notes to images, with automatic syncing enabled for new captures.
The Alexa Photo Frame is available starting at $199.99 for the Black model, with Birch and Walnut wood finishes priced at $229.

Upgraded Echo Speakers and Displays
Amazon also refreshed its existing hardware lineup, announcing updates to the Echo Show 16, Echo Dot, and introducing the Echo Studio with Home Camera.
The updated Echo Dot integrates a built-in smart home hub and an eero Wi-Fi extender offering up to 1,000 square feet of additional coverage. It runs on Amazon's custom AZ3 silicon chip to improve on-device processing speeds for voice interactions.
The high-end Echo Studio with Home Camera functions as both an advanced speaker and a security camera equipped with visual intelligence capabilities.
The camera system can analyze household objects in real time to provide contextual assistance, such as explaining board game rules or identifying consumer goods for reordering.
The Echo Dot is priced at $99.99, while the Echo Studio with Home Camera retails for $249.99.
Additionally, the redesigned Echo Show 16 features a 16-inch display with a 10 percent larger viewing area inside a 40 percent smaller frame. It includes built-in Fire TV, Family Organizer tools, and digital photo frame functionality.
The Echo Show 16 is available for preorder at $499.99.
