Pricing and Availability
The past several months have seen rising prices for PC components such as RAM, storage, and graphics cards. A current promotion on Newegg discounts Gigabyte’s RTX 5070 Ti Windforce to $1,099 using an account-linked promo code accessed directly on the retailer page.
Design and Dimensions
The on-sale Windforce model features an all-black aesthetic without RGB lighting. It utilizes three large cooling fans paired with a sizable heatsink, copper heatpipes, and a copper baseplate. The fans feature a semi-passive mode that stops rotation at low loads. Measuring 304mm in length and featuring a dual-slot 50mm depth, the card fits various builds, though its length requires verification for certain small-form-factor chassis.
Specifications and Performance
The Windforce 5070 Ti operates with a 12V-2x6 power connector and includes a dual PCIe 8-pin adapter, with Gigabyte recommending a 750W power supply. Video outputs feature three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port. The card has a base core clock of 2,497 MHz, offering a 45 MHz factory boost over reference specifications. It is equipped with 16GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28 Gbps across a 256-bit bus, delivering high frame rates at 1080p and 1440p alongside 4K gaming capabilities enhanced by DLSS and frame generation technologies.
Despite a persistently inflated graphics card market, the Gigabyte Windforce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB available at $1,099 via promo code represents a notable price reduction for mid-to-high-tier system builders.
