Protest Disrupts GTC Keynote
Protesters disrupted Jensen Huang's Nvidia GTC keynote in Berlin. Minutes into the CEO's address, the broadcast was interrupted by a heckler from the crowd demanding answers regarding claims that the company's chips were found inside Russian drones, alongside broader environmental charges. Attendee footage shows protesters standing on chairs with a large banner reading Nvidia, clean up your dirty business.
Footage shared on social media shows protesters brandishing a banner bearing a Greenpeace logo. The demonstrator called out asking about technology found in Russian drones, specifically questioning Nvidia chips and environmental destruction.

Huang responded on the broadcast by telling security to go easy as they escorted the protesters from the hall, noting he would speak with them later.
Chip Resale and Military Use Concerns
The complaint follows reports that Nvidia Jetson chips have been found in Russian cruise missiles and AI drones, including the S-71 Monochrome weapon powered by consumer-grade Jetson Orin chips. Nvidia previously stated that these consumer-grade products are sold to developers, students, and startups for beneficial applications, are not sold in Russia, and are not designed for military purposes, while acknowledging it cannot track secondary resales.
An August report noted a drone attack in Ukraine involving autonomous targeting enabled by Jetson Orin modules. After addressing the interruption briefly by stating he needed to continue his presentation, Huang proceeded with the keynote.
Huang is attending Nvidia's three-day GTC event in Berlin, which runs through October 22 and features developer talks and fireside chats.
