Massive Enterprise Cluster Put Up For Sale
Core 4 Solutions has listed a 300-rack AI supercomputer on eBay for $59.7 million, featuring free shipping via FedEx Ground or expedited delivery options. The massive cluster packs 9,600 Nvidia A100 accelerators and 4,200 AMD EPYC Rome 64-core processors.
Although chipmakers have transitioned to newer architectures like Blackwell, Vera Rubin, and EPYC Turin, Ampere-based A100 accelerators and EPYC Rome CPUs remain heavily utilized for large-scale machine learning and scientific workloads. With modern Nvidia racks commanding multi-million-dollar price tags per unit, older hardware serves as a budget-friendly alternative that bypasses lengthy manufacturing lead times.
Hardware Specifications and Scale
Each of the system's racks contains four compute nodes and three management nodes. The compute nodes combine two AMD EPYC Rome 64-core processors, eight Nvidia A100 40GB SXM4 accelerators, and 1TB of DDR4-2933 memory. Management nodes integrate dual EPYC 64-core chips alongside 192GB of system memory.
In total, the installation features 268,800 execution cores across its processors and approximately 1.4 petabytes of aggregate system memory.

Valuation and Component Breakdown
While the $59.7 million price tag is substantial, independent valuations suggest it aligns with component costs. The A100 accelerators, EPYC Rome processors, and DDR4 memory account for roughly $28.1 million in raw silicon and memory modules, excluding secondary infrastructure such as networking gear, power distribution units, and heavy-duty rack enclosures.
Listing multi-million-dollar assets on consumer auction platforms is unusual but not entirely unprecedented for high-end industrial brokers looking to target expanding enterprise AI labs.
Transporting hundreds of server racks presents a major logistical undertaking, though the seller officially lists standard ground shipping and local pickup alternatives alongside flat-rate freight options.
The online listing has already attracted public interest, drawing dozens of watchers and prospective buyers prior to any final transaction.
