Audio Intelligence on WatchOS
Starting today, Siri can tune into the Apple Watch’s microphone with Audio Intelligence capabilities available in the new watchOS developer beta. The additions include Siri Recap, which utilizes ambient listening to generate conversation summaries, and Live Rewind, which creates text transcripts for the final 15 seconds of detected audio.

Health App Redesign and Language Support
Apple is also rolling out a redesigned Health app for testing in the iOS developer beta alongside expanded language support covering global English, Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. The update introduces an Insights tab with data summaries, a personalized For You section, and educational health content.
Live Rewind and Siri Recap Capabilities
Live Rewind helps users recall recent conversation details by using a double-press of the Digital Crown to display the previous 15 seconds as a text snippet. Users can query Siri about the text or save it to the Siri app. Siri Recap generates high-level summaries and key points of conversations automatically using Apple Intelligence to help users review discussions later.
• Siri Recap, which can create high-level summaries of conversations that users can review later to jog their memory. When Siri Recap is turned on, after a conversation, Apple Intelligence automatically generates a title and key points in the new Siri app, allowing users to be more present and engaged in the moment.
Privacy and Data Protection
Regarding always-listening AI, Apple released a privacy overview detailing safeguards for continuous microphone use. The company states that raw audio is processed within dedicated hardware, is not saved as a file, and remains inaccessible to the operating system, applications, or Apple. Saved summaries and transcripts sync with end-to-end encryption across authenticated iCloud devices.
