For the Halide camera app, the transition has been swift. Developer Lux Optics released an update designed specifically for the iPhone Duo, showcasing how third-party creators are adapting to the folding form factor.
Users on the Duo can utilize new interface additions tailored to the device's physical poses. The update allows users to reposition camera controls when the phone is fully or partially open. In the partly-open stance, the Duo can function similarly to a waist-level viewfinder camera. The update is available for Halide Mark III users, with more features planned.
