It has physical controls and see-through panels.
While it figures out what's next for its phone series, Nothing announced the Headphone 1 Pro. It's the company's new flagship audio product and the first with studio-level controls that accurately reflect that pro moniker. After the impressive $199 Headphone A series, it's stepping up the specs and the price, while retaining the brand's distinct aesthetic.
Design and Aesthetics
Available in white and black options, the $399 Nothing Headphone 1 Pro comes with a hardcase that surrounds the headphone cups, allowing users to carry them by the headband. The case utilizes a glossy plastic build that draws inspiration from late-90s and early-00s tech aesthetics.
Studio Controls and Features
The Headphone 1 Pro includes a tiny switch to bypass the equalizer and spatial audio for studio professionals, letting them hear their mixes more accurately. Developed in collaboration with London-based Metropolis Studios, this flat equalizer offers an alternative to standard listening profiles.
Audio Specs and Connectivity
The Headphone 1 Pro supports LDAC, 24-bit high-res audio, and wireless lossless connections. It incorporates a trio of drivers targeting bass, vocal, and instrumental ranges, alongside support for Auracast as both a transmitter and receiver via the companion app.
Battery and Noise Cancellation
The headphones carry an IP52 rating. Nothing promises up to 32 hours of playback with active noise cancellation enabled and up to 68 hours with ANC disabled. The device utilizes 10 microphones to capture environmental noise alongside a new silicone baffle wall for improved physical sound isolation.

Comfort and Availability
The ear cushions are designed to be 50 percent softer than those on the previous Headphone 1, offering better accommodation for glasses wearers, while the headband is 10 percent wider. The Headphone 1 Pro is available now through Nothing's website, Amazon, and Best Buy stores across the US.
