Indie Hits Coming to Xbox
Three indie games that achieved viral status over the last three years are making their long-awaited debut on Xbox from publisher Critical Reflex.
As revealed during the ID@Xbox showcase, celebrated indie titles Arctic Eggs, Mouthwashing, and No, I'm Not a Human are making their way to Xbox for the very first time.
Arctic Eggs Launch Details
Physics-focused game Arctic Eggs tasks players with cooking eggs in the Arctic. The game's physics make this chore a test of patience, requiring players to pan fry items from cockroaches to shot glasses and sausages to feed the city's inhabitants. Arctic Eggs, from developer The Water Museum, is available now on Xbox Series X/S.
No, I'm Not a Human Arrival
No, I’m Not a Human is an unsettling narrative title that follows a homeowner deciding who to shelter in an uninhabitable world as mysterious beings emerge from the ground. Players must pick real survivors and wait out the apocalypse or risk letting impostors inside. The title will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in 2027.
Mouthwashing on Xbox
Cult indie horror game Mouthwashing, first released in September 2024, is coming to the Xbox family. Set on a shipwrecked space freighter, players manage its remaining crew as they descend into madness. Mouthwashing arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on October 29, 2026.
Critical Review Scores
IGN gave Mouthwashing a glowing review, scoring it a sparkling 9 out of 10 and praising it as a grimy, uncomfortable, and incredibly compelling experience.
Publisher Critical Reflex has planned further updates regarding its upcoming slate of releases.
