Dead Space Comes to Battlefield 6
Battlefield 6 is getting a Dead Space event in time for Halloween. EA and Dice are calling it a non-canon event, allowing developers to introduce Necromorphs into Area 51.
The crossover was teased with The Marker appearing at the end of a Las Vegas trailer. Faction Pax Armata will pursue secret technology beneath Area 51 using assets from the Dead Space remake.
Event Schedule and Rewards
Players can unlock unique cosmetics starting October 20 through November 7.
Battlefield Studios general manager Patrick Klaus highlighted the milestone anniversary, mentioning past collaborations like Top Gun and the return of Naval Warfare.
Season 5 includes three maps set around Las Vegas, a new take on REDSEC, Platoons, and a Server Browser.
New Season Content
The new season features combat across the Vegas strip, with the Area 51 map also playable in standard modes.
A close-quarters map named European Casino enters rotation on November 10, followed by a snowy Vegas update on December 8.
REDSEC additions bring Rapid Royale, featuring faster rounds, fewer players, and a cash system for respawns when the season begins on October 13.
