Belkin Travel Bag for Nintendo Switch 2 Review
Belkin's travel bag for the Nintendo Switch 2 is designed to comfortably carry the console and its various accessories, offering protection from everyday elements and minor impacts.
Design and Comfort
The Switch 2 case features a somewhat understated aesthetic. While the slightly ruched outer material provides a rugged look, and the green and lilac color options are more vibrant than the standard black, there is minimal branding. This minimalist approach may appeal to users seeking discretion rather than a bold statement.

The materials used are a highlight, ranking among the better options for Nintendo Switch 2 accessories. The outer fabric is soft and smooth, contributing to an ergonomic form and minimal weight, making it very comfortable against the back. The material is comparable to those found in outdoor gear, though Belkin does not specify if the bag is water- or splashproof.
The shoulder strap is also well-constructed, feeling smooth and comfortable without digging into the collarbone, despite lacking a padded covering. It offers ample adjustability to suit a wide range of user heights and preferences. While adjusting the buckle can occasionally be a bit stiff, this minor inconvenience is a trade-off for a secure fit.
The bag can be worn over either shoulder, thanks to two fastening points at the bottom. The plastic carabiner at the end of the strap is robust enough for security yet easy to unhook due to its angled mechanism.

In addition to the shoulder strap, a slightly padded and soft carrying handle is located at the top, providing comfortable handheld transport.
Storage and Accessibility
The main compartment offers considerable space, accommodating multiple accessories such as the Nintendo Switch 2 dock, controllers, and power cables. Its wide opening, facilitated by zippers running almost the entire length of both sides, allows for easy access. The zippers operate smoothly, with minimal snagging reported by the source reviewer.
Within the main compartment are three additional sections. One is specifically designed for the console and is lined with soft felt to protect the screen from scuffs and scratches. A hook-and-loop strap secures the console, which, while somewhat slack even with Joy-Cons attached, is compensated by the snug fit of the pouch itself.

This slight slackness proves beneficial, allowing the storage of the console with bulkier, third-party controllers attached. For example, the source reviewer successfully fit the console with a CRKD Nitro Deck 2.
An easily removable game card sleeve, capable of holding 10 cards, is attached to the outside of the console compartment. While this capacity is reasonable, some other Switch 2 cases, such as Turtle Beach's PlayTrek 2-in-1 case (14 slots) and PlayTrek travel case (12 slots), offer more.
Another compartment, though not felt-lined, still features a soft material. This pouch has limited capacity, and bulky items stored here may reduce the space available for the adjacent console compartment.

For larger accessories, the netting pocket opposite is more suitable. It can accommodate cables, power adapters, and two Joy-Con 2 controllers, though perhaps not all simultaneously. While the netting expands considerably, it tends to sag when fully loaded, even with moderately weighted items. The source reviewer also noted that pointed items, like paper manuals, could potentially poke through its holes.
On the exterior, a simple zip pocket on the front spans almost the entire length of the bag. It is roomy enough for several larger items but cannot fit bulkier items like the Nintendo Switch dock.

Protection and Durability
Regarding protection, the bag features substantial cushioning on the bottom, described by Belkin as an “impact-resistant base,” and around the sides. However, there is less padding on the front and back. As this is not a hard-shell case, the source reviewer would not be confident stacking heavy items on top of it.
For users who do not require extreme ruggedness, Belkin’s travel bag offers significant value at a reasonable price. It stands as a strong contender for those seeking a lightweight and comfortable over-the-shoulder bag for their Switch 2 and its accessories.
