New Final Fantasy 7 Revelation footage has revealed a hot springs feature that boosts the party's health and gives them a set of new bathing suit skins.
Part of the experience involves allowing Cloud, Barret, Tifa, and the rest of the party to interact during their journey. In Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, players will be able to visit a collection of new hot springs locations.
The publisher unveiled the new gameplay feature during an event and subsequently shared footage online. When the group stops at a hot spring, they benefit from a permanent increase to their maximum HP alongside character moments. Furthermore, the bathing suit outfits featured during these segments can be unlocked as usable skins.

Party Member Outfits
Available clips display specific skins for Cloud, Barret, and Cid. Red XIII can also relax in the hot springs, though his appearance remains largely unchanged. Meanwhile, newly playable party member Vincent Valentine retains his standard combat attire during the scenes.
Director Naoki Hamaguchi noted in a statement that each hot spring offers a different glimpse into the characters' everyday lives while allowing players to unlock the featured outfits as skins by exploring the world.
Release and Development Details
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation serves as the concluding chapter of the remake trilogy. Development updates have highlighted features such as an optional auto-leveling system and a campaign runtime exceeding 100 hours.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation launches for PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on April 8, 2027.
