Community Response

Forza Horizon 6 developer Playground Games has addressed its player base following months of constructive feedback that was met with radio silence from the studio.

In a post on social channels, the studio acknowledged that communication has fallen short. The developers stated they are reviewing player feedback regarding post-launch updates and are looking into potential changes for future in-game content and communication channels.

Player Concerns and Missing Features

Despite receiving positive reviews at launch, players grew frustrated due to a lack of updates from the developer and the absence of certain features present in earlier entries of the franchise.

Content creators highlighted concerns that community engagement felt nonexistent, with players feeling forced to grind festival playlists for new vehicles rather than enjoying preferred modes.

Community criticisms also targeted the absence of regular update shows and the lack of in-game voice chat, a feature present in the previous title Forza Motorsport.

Replayability and Platform Concerns

Content creators noted that the title struggles with long-term replayability beyond single-player modes unless socialization and community features are expanded.

PlayStation 5 Release Status

Meanwhile, Microsoft and Playground have not confirmed a release date for the rumored PlayStation 5 version, leaving the timeline uncertain as the studio focuses on addressing community feedback.

At the same time, a secondary team at Playground is finalizing development on the upcoming Fable reboot, leading to questions regarding resource allocation between the two projects.
