Release Date and Expansion
Forza Horizon 6 is finally scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 on January 26, launching alongside a major expansion for the open-world racing title.
A new trailer confirms the January launch date, coinciding with the release of the game's first expansion, though specific details about the content remain undisclosed. Similar to previous Xbox and PC releases, players who purchase the Premium Edition can access five days of early play on PS5. Additionally, any pre-order on the console includes a pre-tuned Ferrari J50.
Strategic Launch Window
The announcement addresses prior speculation that the platform port might slip past its early window. By securing a late January release, the title avoids potential crowding from other major industry releases, positioning it to capture a strong audience following the success of previous entries on Sony's hardware.
Critical Acclaim
The title previously earned critical praise for its technical achievements, dense open-world map, and well-structured campaign progression.
Critics have lauded the sequel as a benchmark for the genre, highlighting its expansive environment and refined driving mechanics.
