The Shower Scene
An interview with Rockstar North about Grand Theft Auto 6 has sparked unexpected online speculation regarding protagonist Jason Duval and whether a specific scene depicts full-frontal nudity.
The discussion began after coverage mentioned a scene in which Jason is naked in the shower, leading some internet users to conclude it was a full-frontal reveal.
For the sake of accuracy, reports have clarified that despite Jason being naked in the shower, carefully positioned camera angles kept his modesty intact.
Previous Nudity in the Series
While the extent of character rendering remains a mystery, full-frontal or partial nudity is not entirely unprecedented in the franchise. Grand Theft Auto 5 featured a semi-obscured look at Trevor during a cutscene, alongside fully-nude members of the Altruist Cult.
The presence of nudity in GTA 6 has also been supported by a leaked European PEGI rating, which noted strong sexual themes, nudity, and interactions in night clubs, though it stopped short of confirming full-frontal character models.
As anticipation for Rockstar's upcoming title continues to build, players and industry watchers await further official details ahead of the game's release.
The fact that nudity will be in the game had previously been confirmed by the leaked European PEGI rating for GTA 6. "There are also strong sexual themes, including nudity, scenes of intercourse and occasional scenes of sexual fetishes," it revealed. "In various night clubs the player can also pay for private dances, during which, the game allows the player to move their hands onto the dancers’ breasts and buttocks." It stopped short of confirming full-frontal nudity, though.
