Storage Requirements
Players preparing for the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI later this month will need to clear significant room on their consoles. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the preload file will demand up to 212GB of storage space depending on the specific platform.
GTA VI Storage and Preload Schedule
Rockstar recommends ensuring sufficient capacity on hardware drives prior to installation.
Preload Details
PlayStation 5 users can begin preloading the game on Tuesday, November 10th at 12 AM local time. Meanwhile, players on Xbox Series X and Series S hardware can initiate their preloads on November 10th at 12 AM GMT. The developer advises players to secure ample room to start downloading as early as possible and published a dedicated support page for further assistance.
Launch Pricing and Format
This confirms earlier speculation regarding the massive file size of the title. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19th priced at $79.99 and releases exclusively as a digital download, with physical retail packages containing a download code instead of a disc.
