Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile are available as starting choices, with additional creatures to catch, train, and battle throughout the adventure.
Alongside battles, players can visit shops, restaurants, and wild zones where Pokemon roam free.
Alternatives you might like
Nintendo Switch owners looking to try something new who prefer a little more Mario in their games can save $20 on Mario Tennis Fever right now. That slashes the price to just $50 during Amazon Prime Day. This is also a deal that might not remain available for long, though, so factor that into any purchase decision.
