Device Lineup and Pricing
Amazon is announcing two new Bee devices alongside a new subscription tier. The $74.99 Bee Frontier is an updated version of the original startup device, while the upcoming $99.99 Bee Eclipse features a credit-card-shaped form factor that snaps magnetically onto the back of a smartphone.
Amazon’s always-listening Bee wearable can now help you buy stuff
The new Alexa and Amazon integrations require a subscription. Plus, a magnetic version for your phone is coming soon.
Core Features and Capabilities
Both devices are designed to listen to daily conversations and provide summaries, transcripts, insights, and to-do lists. Users can integrate Bee devices with services like Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple HealthKit, and photos to let the AI take actions such as drafting emails or sending calendar invites.

Both the Eclipse and Frontier feature recording indicator lights.
Form Factors and Specifications
The Bee Frontier can be worn as a wrist band or clip-on pin with dual microphones, a recording indicator light, seven days of battery life, and an IP67 water resistance rating. It is available in black, green, and lavender.
The Eclipse is intended as a non-wearable alternative for professional use cases. Its larger size accommodates a bigger battery that delivers 21 days of charge.
Subscription Tiers and Pricing
Amazon is introducing a Bee Pro subscription for $11.99 a month. While a free tier offers basic summaries and 14 days of memory, the subscription provides unlimited summaries, suggested to-dos, daily memories, a personal chat assistant, and Amazon and Alexa Plus compatibility.
Shopping and Ecosystem Integration
The opt-in Amazon integration enables the device to surface shopping suggestions based on conversations, displaying product reminders on the Amazon homepage or via app buttons. The Alexa Plus integration provides a hands-free way to access summaries and insights.
Amazon stated that Bee devices encrypt transcripts, summaries, and to-dos via its Private Compute security architecture and do not store raw audio recordings. The AI is trained on the individual user's voice during setup, while other speakers are not automatically identified.
The Bee Frontier is available starting today for $74.99, while the Eclipse is scheduled to release soon for $99.99 in black, pink, yellow, and silver.
