Markdown Rendering Improvements

Discord’s latest update features a major improvement for Markdown previews, allowing them to render correctly instead of displaying raw symbols. Because large language models and AI agents frequently rely on Markdown files for instructions and context, these enhanced previews assist users sharing information about technical projects on the platform.

Discord now formats Markdown previews right

Markdown files in Discord now render neatly thanks to a software update.

When uploading a Markdown file, users now see the file rendered with proper formatting and tables instead of text symbols, according to the platform.

Google has also enhanced its Markdown support by allowing users to edit Markdown files directly in Docs without converting them first.

Organization and File Size Updates

The update also enables users to organize servers and channels by right-clicking icons on the sidebar and utilizing a new move feature. Additionally, Discord Nitro subscribers can now upload individual files as large as 1GB.
