Ikea’s colorful donut-shaped smart lamp is $20 off
The Varmblixt can display hundreds of colors thanks to its Matter support, and can be put on your table or wall.
Design and Features
The device is designed to sit on a table or mount on a wall using a simple screw. At 180 lumens, it functions best as a bedside lamp or accent light rather than primary room illumination. The updated model features 12 preset colors, including pink, blue, green, and white. An included wireless remote handles brightness, power, and color adjustments without requiring an app or hub, though a physical power button is also built into the lamp.
Smart Home Integration
For broader ecosystem integration, the lamp includes Matter support for compatibility with Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. Connecting the device unlocks voice control, expanded color choices, automation routines, and integration with motion sensors. These advanced features are also accessible through Ikea’s Dirigera hub and Home Smart app.
