A Spellbinding Collaboration
This collectible phone marks the smartphone manufacturer's second collaboration with Warner Bros.
Harry Potter fanatics and novelty collectors can now purchase a smartphone tailored to the wizarding franchise. Created by Chinese phone manufacturer realme, the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition combines functional computing hardware with a distinct thematic design and collectible accoutrements.
The brand previously released a limited edition Game of Thrones version of its Realme 15 Pro, which received positive attention for its thematic visual elements and customized interface designs. This release marks the company's second partnership with Warner Bros.
Following an initial sell-out, realme made a second batch available on its website. For those seeking alternative merchandise, the company also offers the Harry Potter-inspired realme Buds T500 Pro earbuds.

Design and Packaging
The phone features a Magic Brown argyle design with a leathery finish and a golden Hogwarts crest in the center. The device incorporates quadra light sensing color-changing technology, which transforms under UV light to display a spectrum of house colors. It measures 8.47mm thick with golden camera accents and a laser-engraved banner along the frame.
The retail package includes a leather suitcase replica containing an acceptance letter, book list, train ticket, character postcards, house crest bookmarks, and a crest pin. The box also supplies a themed protective case, charger, USB data cable, SIM ejector tool, and guide.
The user interface includes a Hogwarts castle wallpaper, a film-inspired boot animation, a custom fingerprint animation, and redesigns for 30 native applications.

Internal Hardware and Display
The device is equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, positioning it as a midrange Android smartphone.
It includes a large battery designed to support extended streaming sessions and supports 80W USB-C charging alongside Bypass Charging technology to help manage thermal output.
The camera system features a FullFocal Portrait Lens Kit, housing a 200MP main sensor, a 112-degree wide-angle camera, and a 50MP selfie camera, supported by optical image stabilization and 4K video recording capabilities at 30 frames per second.
For visuals, the phone features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6500 nits, HDR10+ support, and a resolution of 1272x2772 pixels.
Performance is driven by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset paired with an ARM Mali-G615 GPU, handling daily tasks and gaming requirements.
The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition retails on the manufacturer's website for approximately $657.
