From co-op survival adventures and horror experiences to mysteries and a chess-based shooter, here is a look at nine newly announced games worth adding to your wishlist.
Akiiwan
Fall into a chill survival adventure guided by a talking campfire. Explore, craft, fish, and hunt during the day, and ask your fire three questions each night. Choose wisely as winter approaches in this hand-drawn world, playable in cozy or realistic modes.
Aquamorta
Aquamorta is a first-person horror adventure set in a forgotten swamp town where something ancient has twisted a community into hysteria. Explore abandoned buildings and corrupted waterways using an old map and compass, fish for the blood that keeps your airboat running, and uncover the dark history of the area.
Checkmate Protocol
Checkmate Protocol is a chess-themed third-person shooter featuring unique weapons, chess-inspired movement abilities, and unhinged boss battles. Fight alone or team up with an arsenal of rifles, handguns, and chainsaws to defeat waves of attackers. The game is coming soon to Steam.
Crown Must Hold
In Crown Must Hold, players combine entire empires rather than individual towers.
Every empire operates on its own system of buildings and rules. Take your empire into a procedurally generated frontier, equip it with run-altering items, and amplify your build with claimed biomes as you expand outward for necessary resources.
A five-region campaign unlocks a new empire, biome, and castle with every region cleared, ultimately opening into Endless Mode.
Paper Perjury 2: Shadow of Justice
Return to Azure City and join Justina in solving one of the biggest mysteries yet in Paper Perjury 2: Shadow of Justice. This upcoming detective visual novel from Paper Cat Games is coming soon to PC.
Rotten Crown
Rotten Crown is a twisted real-time settlement manager where problems never fully die. Grow your tiny kingdom, turn opposition into workers, balance the needs of humans and zombies, and make questionable leadership decisions.
Rotten Crown can be wishlisted on Steam with an open playtest scheduled for the near future.
Silk & Sorrow
Silk & Sorrow is a hand-drawn dark fantasy co-op adventure built exclusively for two players. It follows two orphans, Silk and Sorrow, who stumble into the Chrysalis, a hidden world containing humanity's discarded remnants. Players must communicate and solve problems together in both couch and online co-op modes.
Silk & Sorrow is coming to PC via Steam, with Chapter 1 releasing as a demo in Winter 2027.
Splizards
Float through the cosmos on a meteor as a Splizard in this cooperative survival adventure. Gather drifting resources, craft tools, and expand your meteor base while defending against swarms of bloodthirsty space mosquitoes and powerful monsters.
The Forge: Steel Frontier
Step into the cockpit as mercenary pilot Ivan and fight alongside a sentient mech named Machine Spirit in The Forge: Steel Frontier. When rivals come for a rare mineral on the Dormant Dragon planet, you and your mech must make choices that determine the fate of the world.
The event features numerous reveals across games, movies, TV, and comics, leading up to a massive livestream showcasing trailers, announcements, and celebrity interviews.
