Design Flaws Ignite Community Backlash
Battlefield 6 has come under fire from fans after its latest battle pass was found to include new character skins with some clear design flaws.
The first that stands out is a soldier wearing a Batman-style mask without ears, featuring five pistols attached to the chest pockets of the tactical vest. Fans on social media quickly joked about the excessive secondary weapons.

Spelling Errors Point Toward Generative AI
Illogical pistol placement is not the only issue concerning fans. Many are convinced that certain cosmetics were generated using artificial intelligence after noticing spelling mistakes, such as a patch reading "secuty" instead of security.

Community members expressed belief that the development team may be utilizing AI tools during the concept phase, leading to rubber-stamped assets making their way into the final game.
IGN has asked EA for comment.
Armor and Equipment Inconsistencies
Another skin features a bomb disposal juggernaut with thick body armor alongside an exposed head. The character also carries magazines for small game hunting rifles that do not exist within the game.
Players noted that carrying finicky magazines for a .22 varmint rifle adds to the questionable equipment choices present in the latest batch of cosmetics.
Industry Skepticism Around Monetized Assets
While these issues could stem from human oversight, players remain skeptical. As artificial intelligence becomes more prevalent in game development, paid assets featuring clear errors face intense scrutiny.
Controversial Crossover Cosmetics
Additionally, players have expressed frustration over the inclusion of whimsical cosmetics, including Dead Space crossover items ahead of a planned themed event.
The addition of these crossover skins runs contrary to prior statements from developers at DICE, who previously indicated that Battlefield 6 would avoid goofy, immersion-breaking cosmetics.
