Facebook users can access Your Algorithm or select interested or not interested from the menu options on individual posts. Meta notes that follow-up questions may appear to gather more detail about user preferences, allowing individuals to specify what they want to see in their own words for real-time updates.
The new tool forms part of a broader set of AI-powered systems designed to customize user feeds. Meta explains that large language models incorporate the interests, context, and intent behind natural language, creating an interactive algorithm that adapts within the same session.
