Automated B2B Sales Research
Floqer is an autonomous customer knowledge platform that provides business-to-business sales and marketing teams with an AI-powered database designed to continuously collect, organize, and update the information used to understand their customers.
The startup plans to open-source the technology behind its autonomous customer knowledge database, targeting early 2027 for the release pending security reviews.
Floqer has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue, and its overall revenue has grown roughly tenfold over the past year.
The startup was founded by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam. Before Floqer, Mahajan worked as a software engineer at Kyndryl, and Islam worked as a senior data scientist at Axis Capital.
Product Pivot and Development
Floqer’s first product looked nothing like its current one. The company started with a Chrome extension called Super Chat, which allowed users to take notes and understand information using ChatGPT accounts.
The founders soon noticed that enterprise companies were using the extension to clean up data in their customer relationship management systems. Conversations with those companies showed that keeping records up to date was mostly manual work.
Customer feedback highlighted that cleaning CRM data required significant manual effort without established internal processes, prompting the team to pivot and build Floqer.

Streamlining Prospecting Workflows
Finding potential customers typically requires hours of searching across Google, LinkedIn, company websites, and job boards to identify target companies, track down the right people, and locate their contact information.
Floqer aims to automate much of that research. Users can describe their criteria, and its AI agents search across different sources to build lists of relevant companies and contacts.
The system enriches accounts using more than 100 third-party data sources. When verifying email addresses or phone numbers, Floqer utilizes a waterfall approach, checking one data provider after another until it finds usable information.
The system continuously monitors the web for changes. If a prospect changes jobs, gets promoted, or works at a company that raises new funding, those updates are reflected in customer records.
Floqer describes the technology as a fleet of AI agents that continuously research companies, people, and customer interactions. Customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70%.
Open-Source Plans and Security
The autonomous customer knowledge database is currently available to a limited audience due to service capacity, making an open-source release a viable path to broader adoption.
Customer demand also drives the open-source decision, as some companies prefer hosting their own data rather than using a vendor platform, while others want to modify the underlying technology.
The company's stated mission is to enable every team to build a central source of growth.
Before releasing the database publicly, Floqer is conducting security reviews to ensure sensitive customer information remains protected.
Founded in 2024, Floqer has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding with participation from investors including Perplexity’s F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats. The company has eight employees and more than 1,000 customers, including Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
