Conversational AI Features
According to Square, the pill-shaped kiosk incorporates an agentic, conversational voice layer that understands a merchant's menu and responds in real time. This allows customers to place orders using natural speech, ask questions, and request custom modifications or substitutions.
Hardware Specifications and Pricing
The kiosk features a 21.5-inch touchscreen and includes presence detection capabilities to greet approaching customers. For payment processing, the device provides an integrated contactless reader and a card slot.
The Square Kiosk is available starting today at a price of $1,999 for businesses utilizing a Square Plus or Premium subscription, alongside a $99 per device monthly software fee.
