Router Performance and Pricing
The TP-Link Archer BE3600 wireless router is available on Amazon for $79.98, marking a 33% discount and its lowest price to date.
The router brings affordable Wi-Fi 7 support to home networks, delivering strong performance across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands despite a few limitations.
Hardware and Connectivity
The flat, rectangular hardware features four external antennas, one 2.5 Gbps WAN port, one 2.5 Gbps LAN port, three 1 Gbps ports, and a single USB 3.0 port for external drives or printers. Initial configuration is handled through TP-Link's web portal.
Trade-offs and Specifications
The model lacks the 6 GHz band and does not support the full Wi-Fi 7 specification, but close-range performance on the 2.4 GHz band remains strong for legacy devices.
The BE3600, also known as the BE230, serves as a solid upgrade over standard ISP-issued hardware or as a network extender during promotional sales events.
