Design and Weight
If you are on the hunt for lightweight wireless headphones but wearing earbuds or clip-ons never feels comfortable or secure, Japanese headphone maker Final has introduced a solution. The new Porta headphones feature an on-ear design supported by a headband with a structure made from a single piece of wire, weighing just 40 grams. For comparison, other compact on-ear headphones typically weigh significantly more.
Ultralight Design and Specifications
The Final Porta weigh just 40 grams and offer up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge.
Pricing and Availability
The Final Porta are available for preorder through the company's online store for 12,800 yen (around $80) with black or orange ear pads, with shipping scheduled to start on October 23rd.

Features and Performance
Sporting a design inspired by retro portable cassette player headphones, the Porta functionality is straightforward. A 57mAh battery charges over USB-C and provides up to eight hours of use while paired via Bluetooth 5.4, streaming audio using the SBC and AAC codecs. There is no active noise cancellation, which is standard for open on-ear designs, but an IPX4 water resistance rating protects against light rain and sweat.
