Meta Connect 2026: Updates on AI Glasses and VR
More smart glasses and potentially a new VR headset are anticipated during today's announcements.

Meta Connect has evolved from a purely VR-focused conference into the primary launchpad for the company's broader hardware, metaverse, and artificial intelligence initiatives. CEO Mark Zuckerberg is expected to unveil new products spanning smart glasses, headsets, and AI portfolios. Official event communications indicate that the presentations will highlight breakthroughs in AI technologies, smart glasses, and virtual reality designed to enhance user connectivity and productivity.

Expected Announcements
Meta previously introduced a new series of Meta Glasses earlier in the year and is expected to demonstrate a camera-free version. Additionally, given the timeline since the last major Quest XR and VR headset release, hardware updates in that category are also anticipated.
